He also fenced at the NCAA Division 1 level for Boston College, where he earned rookie of the year and was on the ACC academic honor roll. Zack has been coaching part time for SFFC for almost 8 years before taking on a full-time coaching role with the club. Zack’s coaching philosophy centers fostering a lifelong joy for the sport of fencing, with additional emphasis on building a strong foundation of technique, footwork, and tactical decision-making. When not fencing, Zack enjoys spending time as a content creator, making art, playing video games, spending time outdoors, listening to live music, and spending time with friends.
